Revlon ColourStay & Little Box of Glamour

Having used a fair few foundation's that hadn't especially pleased me (most recently Maybelline Dream Matte Mouse) I'd decided on a change and read some reviews. I'd decided that I liked the sound of Revlon ColourStay and having read a lot of positive reviews I decided to purchase it (for £12.49 at boots.com).
I don't think they do it anymore, but there was still a Christmas gift-set that came free if you spent more than £10 on Revlon products, even though I bought this in March... I'm not complaining though ;) it came with
Grow Lucious by Fabulash Mascara in 001; Blackest Black.
Super Lustrous Lipgloss in 170; Coral Reef
Nail Enamel in 146; Gold Coin
& my foundation is:
ColourStay for Normal/Dry Skin in 110 Ivory with SPF 15.
I think the little box my things came in is adorable c:
Foundation & the contents of the Little Box of Glamour.

Though the staying power of this gloss isn't very good, I love the colour. It's a perfect peachy coral shade for a lipgloss. It's not sticky and the only real problem with it is that it doesn't stay on your lips for a long time.

I actually really like this nail varnish. When I received it, I was unsure how I felt about it because it looked watery, but it's actually really pigmented. It's recommended that you put 2 coats on, I didn't really need to but it made it better. I have a thing with painting a panel on my phone with nail varnishes and it's currently this nail varnish and it hasn't chipped at all. I would've had to pay£6.49 for it in Boots.

There's not a lot I can say about this mascara, as I use 4 mascaras out of habit. However this one is my favourite. The applicator is a brush and these are my favourite as I don't particularly like plastic ones as I don't feel like they properly grip my lashes. Mascara's aren't something I worry about too much and I'll just use whatever but I do really like this one. I would've had to pay £9.99 in Boots.

This is the only thing I paid for in the bunch and it's also the only thing I don't really like. When I was reading the reviews, it really appealed to me. I thought, who wouldn't like a foundation designed for their skintype? Well, me, apparently. I have normal/dry skin, I cleanse, tone and moisturise daily and I find that this makes my skin oily, but not in the way I want. I think perhaps it doesn't agree with my moisturiser, though I haven't yet tried it without moisturiser. I also don't like how this hasn't got a decent dispenser, like a pump, so I find that too much comes out at once and it's a waste. I do, however, think it gives a good coverage and is a great match to my skin tone. I don't really think it's worth £12.49.

This has been my first ever post, I hope it's not too obvious ;)
